1. Purpose

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how deposits, setup fees, project fees, monthly retainers, advertising management fees, third-party costs and cancellations are handled for BloxLeads services.

This policy must be read together with our Terms and Conditions and any proposal, invoice or signed service agreement.

2. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Where services fail to meet a consumer guarantee and the law requires a remedy, we will provide the remedy required by law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include re-supplying the service, fixing the issue, providing a partial refund, or another lawful remedy.

3. Change of Mind

Because our services involve strategy, planning, labour, allocated resources, creative work, technical setup and digital delivery, we do not provide refunds for change of mind once work has commenced, unless required by law or agreed in writing.

4. Deposits and Setup Fees

Deposits and setup fees are generally non-refundable once paid because they secure project time and cover onboarding, planning, research, account setup, strategy, administration and initial work.

If we have not commenced work and you cancel before work starts, we may consider a partial refund after deducting reasonable administration, consultation and scheduling costs.

5. Project-Based Services

For website development, landing pages, branding, creative content, copywriting, SEO setup, campaign builds or other project work, fees are payable according to the agreed milestones or invoice terms.

If you cancel a project after commencement, you must pay for work completed, work in progress, committed resources, approved expenses and third-party costs up to the cancellation date.

6. Ongoing Monthly Services

For ongoing services such as paid advertising management, SEO, social media management, website maintenance, CRM support or marketing consulting, fees are usually payable monthly in advance.

Unless a proposal or signed agreement states otherwise, you may cancel ongoing monthly services by giving 30 days written notice. Fees remain payable until the end of the notice period.

7. Fixed-Term Agreements

Where you agree to a fixed minimum term, you are responsible for fees for the full term unless the agreement allows earlier termination, we agree otherwise in writing, or the law requires a different outcome.

8. Advertising Spend and Third-Party Costs

Advertising spend paid to Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft or other platforms is not controlled by BloxLeads and is not refundable by us.

Third-party costs such as hosting, domains, software, plugins, themes, stock assets, fonts, licences, subscriptions and contractor costs are non-refundable once incurred, unless the relevant third-party provider offers a refund and that refund is received by us.

9. Paused Campaigns

If campaigns are paused because of client delay, non-payment, missing approvals, platform billing failure, lack of access, policy issues or missing materials, BloxLeads’ management fees may remain payable because resources and availability have been allocated.

10. Client Delays and Abandoned Projects

If you do not provide required information, content, feedback, access or approvals within 30 days of our request, the project may be treated as delayed. If delay continues for 60 days or more, we may close the project and invoice for work completed and committed costs.

Reactivation of an abandoned project may require a new quote, revised timeline and reactivation fee.

11. Dissatisfaction and Remediation

If you are dissatisfied with a deliverable or service, you must notify us in writing with reasonable details. We will review the issue and, where appropriate, may correct defects, provide a reasonable revision within scope, re-supply part of the service or discuss another practical remedy.

A lack of leads, sales, rankings, traffic or profit is not by itself a defect, because marketing results are not guaranteed.

12. How to Cancel

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to our nominated contact email. The notice period starts when we receive the written request, unless the agreement states otherwise.

13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, you agree to contact us so we can attempt to resolve the issue. Unauthorised chargebacks may result in suspension of services and recovery of fees, costs and expenses where permitted by law.
